To these capabilities, this fixed focal length lens adds super telephoto and image stabilization systems.Developed by Olympus, 5-axis synchronous image stabilization provides added stabilization benefits when the built-in image stabilization system of an OM-D E-M1 (firmware version 4.0) or E-M5 Mark II (firmware version 2.0) camera body is used in conjunction with this lens’s own image stabilization system. This combination delivers 6 stops of stabilization, for the world’s highest performance.It enables handheld shooting at the 35 mm equivalent of 23.6 inches (600 mm).Primary Features: 1. With 4 stops (*2) of image stabilization even when using only the lens’s image stabilization system, this super telephoto lens can also be used with bodies from other manufacturers. 2. Compared to a 35 mm full-size camera with a 600 mm F4.0 lens, this lens results in compact, lightweight setups with less than 1/3 the weight at 2.8 lbs (1,270 g) (not including tripod), and less than 1/2 the length at 8.9 inches (227 mm) (diameter: 3.6 inches (92.5 mm)). 3.
