From the G-SHOCK Master of G series that continues to pursue toughness and challenges to the limit, the new Master of G "Frogman" has been introduced with specs to support missions in the water.
In order to meet the true needs of saltwater rescue professionals, the first Frogman is equipped with a triple sensor that allows measurements of depth, direction, and temperature.
In order to meet their demands, we have developed a newly developed water pressure sensor specifically for Frogman, and can measure up to 26.6 ft (80 m) above the depth of water allowed for divering. In addition, we have achieved measurements in 3.9 inches (10 cm) increments for high sensitivity and accuracy.
The bearing measurement function has also been greatly improved. The newly developed direction measurement function allows you to measure and check important directions when performing dive missions where dirt and float objects that roll up from the bottom of the sea.
In addition to the time on duty, it also has a time stamp function that can record water depth and temperature information, and a new button at the 9 o'clock position to increase the operability. The exterior and quality are also made to be uncompromised specifications and designs that are intended for use in dive missions.
The thick stainless steel case withstands high pressure and has been treated with DLC for high abrasion resistance, and the combination of highly sensitive screw back. The screwback is engraved with the frog character that is hardened in the dive equipment. It expresses a serious and compromise attitude for diving.
A thicker sapphire glass is used for the windshield to increase visibility and scratch resistance and to withstand high water pressure. Large forged buttons to ensure operability even while wearing gloves, high brightness LED lights to support activities in the dark.
In addition, it is intended to be worn over a diving suit, and the long band with carbon fiber sheet inserted into the carbon fiber sheet for added comfort and tensile durability, and we have made thorough attention to the specifications that divers demand.
