The 78mm Premium Tumbler Glass adds roundness to the taste of wine and whisky for a more aged feel.
This peculiar effect is due to metal catalysis processing applied to the tumbler’s inner walls.
When the liquid touches the treated surface, unwanted tastes are eliminated, giving drinks a rounder taste.
Red wine and shochu sommeliers conduct taste tests to try the products’ quality.
Although there are differences depending on the type of alcohol, the general feedback is that drinks’ taste becomes rounder making them easier to drink.

●Designed for Concrete Usability
This simple yet stylish tumbler was created by product designer Michio Akita.
Thanks to its double wall structure it has high heat and cold insulation properties, which keeps the drink in its best condition until the last drop.
We expressly avoided introducing a vacuumed space between the two walls, keeping the design delicate and allowing the drinks’ temperature to be slightly perceivable from the outside.

78mm Premium Tumbler Glass is manufactured in Tsubame Sanjo, one of Japan's leading metal crafting towns, renowned for the quality of its products.
The double structure of the tumbler is achieved by assembling an external and an internal wall with different thicknesses, while the angle of the brim is carefully calculated for optimal drinkability.
On top of assembling the two walls with different thicknesses, finishing the brim in a specific angle requires extremely advanced welding technology, which is why finding the right manufacturer has required a whole year.
Therefore, our product is not only a high-quality tumbler, but it is a product that can only be manufactured with the most advanced Tsubame Sanjo metal processing technology

As a company situated in Shiga Prefecture, where Lake Biwa is also located, we have developed our business in the environmental field, with a focus on the wastewater treatment business.
Moreover, we strive to achieve sustainable environmental conservation and, while tackling environmental issues in Japan, starting from our own Shiga Prefecture, we are also researching environmental conservation solutions in Vietnam. Here, we engage in educational activities to tackle environmental issues from a global perspective.
Looking for new applications for metal catalysis, in 2017 we launched a lifestyle brand called VANTECH PRODUCTS.
Metal catalysis is a technology commonly employed in the wastewater treatment process. However, with the desire to make metal catalyst technology known to the public and with the hope to make it feel more accessible to them, we have developed our lifestyle brand.
VANTECH PRODUCTS was born after a three-year preparation period, during which, through trial and error, we tested whether metal catalysts’ ability to separate impurities from liquids could also be applied to enhance the flavor of drinks.
