Experience the pride of the samurai and the beauty of Japan.
The intricate forms of these kamon are brought to life through advanced metalworking techniques cultivated in traditional Japanese workshops.
・Metal Cutting
Each crest is precisely cut from a brass plate using laser technology.
To preserve the original beauty of the kamon, each design is carefully created in CAD and finely adjusted for optimal laser processing.
We use high-precision fiber laser machines capable of accuracy within 0.1 mm, ensuring even the most delicate shapes remain intact.
・Polishing
After laser cutting, microscopic surface irregularities are smoothed through barrel finishing.
However, fine metal particles can still remain in the intricate gaps of the design.
For this reason, the final finishing is done by hand. Skilled craftsmen carefully remove each imperfection without damaging the metal.
・Surface Finishing
Finally, a gold plating is applied to create a beautiful contrast between brass and gold.
The result is a refined and substantial finish that enhances the noble character of each crest.
