Red Ginseng is a light yellowish-brown or light reddish-brown South-Korean type of ginseng root that is grown for 6 years and, unpeeled, is very slowly steamed with vapor and left to air-dry.
Compared to other types of ginsengs, it contains the largest number of Saponins varieties, alongside Maltose, various Amino Acids, Organic Acids, and more.
Through the steaming process, Red Ginseng’s toxins are eliminated, while generating components beneficial to the body.
