220mm Muddler has a simple yet stylish design.
It is manufactured using the most advanced metal processing technology in Tsubame Sanjo, Niigata Prefecture, one of Japan's leading metal crafting towns.
The end of the muddler undergoes metal catalysis processing so that unwanted tastes are eliminated when it is used to stir drinks, leaving them with a rounder taste.
It can be used with various drinks, but it is especially recommended for alcoholic beverages like wine and shochu.
Generally, recently bottled “young wines” have a higher degree of clarity and, as they age, become cloudier and more sedimented.
Young wines can have strong tartness and acidity that they will lose with aging. By using the 220mm Muddler, you will be able to enjoy delicious wine and drinks.
Red wine and shochu sommeliers conduct taste tests to try the products’ quality.
Although there are differences depending on the type of alcohol, the general feedback is that drinks’ taste becomes rounder making them easier to drink.
(* Due to the properties of metal catalysis processing, we advise against using the treated end of the muddler to stir carbonated beverages, as they will go flat. Please use the untreated, thinner end of the muddler in such cases)

As a company situated in Shiga Prefecture, where Lake Biwa is also located, we have developed our business in the environmental field, with a focus on the wastewater treatment business.
Moreover, we strive to achieve sustainable environmental conservation and, while tackling environmental issues in Japan, starting from our own Shiga Prefecture, we are also researching environmental conservation solutions in Vietnam. Here, we engage in educational activities to tackle environmental issues from a global perspective.
Looking for new applications for metal catalysis, in 2017 we launched a lifestyle brand called VANTECH PRODUCTS.
Metal catalysis is a technology commonly employed in the wastewater treatment process. However, with the desire to make metal catalyst technology known to the public and with the hope to make it feel more accessible to them, we have developed our lifestyle brand.
VANTECH PRODUCTS was born after a three-year preparation period, during which, through trial and error, we tested whether metal catalysts’ ability to separate impurities from liquids could also be applied to enhance the flavor of drinks.
